At the time of recruitment, Keon was twenty-five years old. He became the group's elected leader because Caitlyn opted out of the role. Hailing from Caledros on the Rumael continent. His family was originally from Xochatle but moved to Caledros for the opportunity of a better life. This made Keon’s upbringing one of comfort and wealth. After experiencing a severe and heartbreaking event, as anyone his age would do, he isolated himself to change his life. He enlisted in Caledros' militia and joined a special research team bound for the southern country of Alkyrian after the Warlock King visited Caledros. His hard work garnered attention and helped him rise in rank. This caught the attention of the King, a wizard known for his experiments, who enlisted him on a research team. Keon’s power was not a genetic mutation, an inherited ability, or something he had a choice to choose. Instead, it was something that was forced upon him, a lab rat to the same experimental research he had been chosen to be a part of. A sole survivor. These experiments used fragments of a dying star and the essence of magic, leaving him with the abilities, or “The Power of the Star,” to channel and convert cosmic energy, achieve supersonic flight, and amplify binaries; the residual effect of longevity, as long as he does not sustain any life-threatening injuries. However, most of his abilities are limited to what his body can contain. Already having been a top fighter, his referral came from the same Wizard King who experimented on him. That resulted in his transfer to Atlas, where Merlin appointed him as the leader of the Apex Ops, regardless of being the fifth member to join. Though not the best of leaders, he still has his newfound team's faith in his ability to guide them, even if they may not always respect him because of his personality.
Keon
Leader Of Apex Ops
Apex Ops

Aria
Aria was the very first member Merlin recruited into the Apex Ops after scouting her when she was seventeen. He waited until her eighteenth birthday before convincing her to join his cause. She hails from Varcrion, an island territory of Atlas that sits on the bordering outskirts of the Onville continent. Varcion is home to sirens, mermaids, and humans. The northern part of the territory has colder temperatures than the southern parts of the country. She is of siren and mermaid ancestry on her mother’s side, while her father was a human fisher who later became the village Chief. From a young age, Aria has always been a fighter, an attribute of being the Chief’s daughter; she was trained like any other warrior of their village. She was always passive-aggressive and intellectually rigorous, with a strong moral compass, choosing to treat the moments she did decide to get involved in conflict or to correct someone else's behavior as teaching moments for character assessment. Upon reaching puberty, her powers manifested, and her voice made her an infamous singer as she was part of the village choir. Her training no longer just included combat; it also incorporated harnessing her newfound abilities, as her vocal coils could be used for destruction or seduction. Merlin travels from Avalon towards the East of the map, their first stop being Olympus, in hopes of recruiting Acheillis, which proved difficult since he would need permission from the Pantheon hierarchy of Olympus, which falls under the matreon of Aurea to revive him. Instead, they went south of Olympus, landing them in Varcrion, where he met the talented Aria. To a young Aria, the promise that Atlas and its militia will offer of greatness and acquired wealth for her country, which was underdeveloped. This deal would prove detrimental to Varcrion, since industrial evolution comes with its own economic strain. The once beautiful coastlines of Varcrion are now covered in industrial concrete, a far cry from what they used to be.

Hawkins
The second member to join Apex Ops, from the country of Drakhar, the Elystrian continent. Drakhar sat on the border of Elystria, with Lumencrys to its west and the Valenric Union, the Atlas territory to its east across the water. At age twenty-three, he was already a renowned speedster, a sort of celebrity within his continent. The discovery of his powers occurred at a young age, when his parents were always amused by the fact that he possessed items from different parts of the world. His parents eventually conceded, and embracing his ability helped him hone his skills and also use his gift to market him as a brand of sorts. Reluctantly, he learned how to fight. With Lumencrys being a close neighbor of Drakhar, his travels there led him to meeting mages who helped him with the full manifestations of his powers, going beyond what he could have done before. He learned quantum phasing, cosmic energy surfing, construction of energy trials, and time-adjacent perception. As their continental travel continued, Merlin, with the newly recruited Aria, was now heading North East towards Lestary Prime, the center of the Elystrian continent, in search of a warrior. They attempted to recruit a pupil into the Sovereign Arcane, but she had no interest in joining a militia. Instead, their attention and interest were piqued by stories of the Speedster of Drakhar, a public figure who had become an inspiration to the lower class of the destitute. He represented and embodied everything a role model should be: powerful, caring, inclusive, empathetic, honest, and intelligent. Their attempt to recruit him would have failed if not for the young Aria. Hawkins had never trusted Merlin, but Aria gave him the protective instincts of an older brother who needed to look out for his younger sibling, and thus, he became Apex Ops' second member.

Bethany
She is the first and only member of the team from TYU7. Hailing from Kansas City, twenty years after the collapse of the veil. Her father was a power plant worker, and from a young age, she had developed an innate aptitude for energy manipulation in her genetic makeup. When the power plant where her father worked exploded, she used her already manifesting powers to save any children that were within the blast radius, but the damage was already severe. Hundreds were injured, leaving hundreds more dead, and hundreds without a means of living. During the event, her powers advanced, allowing her to generate force fields and make herself invisible. Her passion was being an equestrian. To participate in these competitions, she needed a horse, and her powers became a means of making money by putting on shows for entertainment. She managed to green lantern her powers, making the invisible tangible. But with access, energy consumption also came fatigue.
Poverty was a major driving force behind her acceptance of Melin's invitation to join Apex Ops during his scout for talented individuals. She was the third member to join, with the intent to never stand by and watch as other lives are ruined by the uncontrollable. A large donation was made to her community, saving it from certain dismantlement.
Apex Ops

Justin
Julian is from the continent of Gath, a country called Pyrestone. The only member is in his mid-to-late thirties. He is the strongest member in terms of physical strength and is also ranked among the strongest on the entire planet; he inherited his parents' genes for a prolonged lifespan and is an only child. His father was a renowned hero of Pyrestone who lived to see seven hundred and eight years, and his mother six hundred and fifty- eight. Just like his father, he grew into a hero the Pyrestone could rely on, with Gath being a pre-developed or underdeveloped country. His ability to fly, generate electricity, conjure storms, and his super strength made him a formidable adversary and a hero to the people of his country, and even though he had a bit of an ego, he remained humble. Despite his humility, he had challenged Thor to a brawl because people kept confusing him with the Norse God of Lightning and Thunder. There was foul play, as Julian made sure that Thor was sufficiently intoxicated before their fight. He was recruited through reputation, the stories of his heroic deeds traveling all the way up to Xochalte, tales of Pyrestone, Gath, and the “Hero of Legend,” where Merlin was recruiting Keon and Caitlyn. With the reassurance from Merlin that the Atlas armada would ensure protection for Pyrestone and the continent of Gath in his absence, Julian accepted Merlin’s offer to join the Apex Ops, becoming its sixth recruited member. He believed that if he could reduce the world's evil, Gath would follow this path as well. As a fitness fanatic, he believes that “Working out one body part doesn’t reduce fat, you have to work out the entire thing,” and he would apply this to the world's problems as the group's muscle.

Caitlyn
Hailing from the continent of Athreon, Caitlyn was born in the southern islands of the Xochatle Empire. Already a member of the Xochatle militia, she was revered as a powerful mage. Her innate ability as a mage was the ability to decipher spells and learn them within a limited amount of time, regardless of the level of spell or the type. When Atlas established RJALS, it gave her access to resources not available to her in the country. Being so close to the borders of No Man’s Land allowed her to participate in the illegal trade of said knowledge. Her ability would remain a hidden secret that she has yet to share with anyone. When she joined the team, she had turned down the opportunity to lead it, despite being its oldest member and assuming a matriarchal, maternal role, being the voice of reason, and holding a strong moral compass. As the fourth member of the team, she is ranked as the team's strongest member in terms of power and would, from time to time, act as an advisor to Keon.

Mace
Currently, the youngest member of the Apex Ops and the last to be recruited. He is considered special in the sense that he was the only individual known crazy enough to leave Aurea, never to return. Aurea, ranked the most powerful country and continent, is considered the world’s golden country: the most advanced in magic, highest in deity occupation, highly technologically advanced, and has an immortality rate of 2,000 years per person, with borders so secure that you need to request access. Access is only granted on a limited basis. There is a very lucrative selection process, easy to get out of, even harder to get in. They have the highest-quality education and health insurance. Mace began his travels from Aurea to Nyxara, then down to Alkyrian on the Rumael continent, where Keon hails from, then east to the border of the Imperium of Hegmundus, where he said. “I took a shit on his borders.” His travels then took him back west to the new world of TYU7 and even further west to the Mechryion of Therium East, where he picked a fight with their Gladiator champion. A champion who, before Mace, had a thousand won fights and continued to win a thousand more after. This was a fight Mace could not win, despite his abilities, energy density control, which he could shoot from his eyes, enhanced physical superiority, flight, and cosmic energy projection. Mace was very popular and made a name for himself, a reputation that would precede him. It was after this battle that Merlin would eventually catch word about the Casanova who had been spreading his wild oats across continents. While in Mechryion, under the guidance of Merlin, who had shown up to recruit the young Mace, the group would eventually save Mechryion from an asteroid that was headed straight for the capital city of Therium East. This was an event no one had foreseen. While Mace was able to stop the asteroid, the devastation of the blast radius caused by the asteroid's energy was unavoidable. A decade later, when Mace returns once again to challenge the gladiator to another fight he would surely lose, Mechyrion had yet to recover from this devastating event fully.
